Daniel has lived in Thorpe for 37 years, his Grand Father farmed the Lodge in Great Oakley, his Mum worked for the Home Help service in the Harwich area and latterly as a Nurse and his Dad worked on the Hook of Holland Ferry out of Parkeston.
He is the Parish Clerk at both Little Clacton and Great Oakley, so he has an in-depth knowledge of local government and how the system works, having also previously worked at Essex County Council for 15 years in Adult Education.
Having taken an interest in a local issue back in 2010, he has never looked back. He has been the Chairman of Tendring District Council for the past two years, Tendring District Councillor for Beaumont, Thorpe (6) and Great Holland (2), as well as Chairman of Thorpe Parish Council for the past nine years.
His track record for getting things done quickly and efficiently is second to none and he strives each and every day to make life better for local people. He is passionate about the areas he currently serves.
By supporting Daniel as a Conservative candidate for Tendring Rural East on Thursday 6th May, you will be voting for someone that takes pride in being a local Councillor, supports the needs of local people and gets things done!
