Jill Reeves

Jill Reeves has been a County Councillor in Castle Point since 1985.  Representing Benfleet from 1985-2005 and then following boundary changes (2005) represents the Hadleigh Division.  Currently chairs the Health, Overview, Policy & Scrutiny Committee, which reviews and scrutinises matters relating to the planning provision and operation of health services in Essex. Member of Development & Control Committee, which considers planning applications in respect of minerals and waste, County Council development and Village Green status.  Outside body appointments include Essex Local Highways Panel - Castle Point; London Southend Airport Consultative Committee; Youth Strategy Group - Castle Point.  Jill has lived in Hadleigh all her life.  Married to Richard.  Has three “goldies” and enjoys walking them in the woods.
